Cage

The golden wires of cage,
One for package,
Two for house,
Three for car,
Four for vacation,
Five for jewels,
Six for gadgets,
Seven, eight, nine, ten…
The list is never ending.

Counting wires inside the cage,
One misses the wonder,
Of soaring high in sky,
Of soothening by cold breeze,
Of rainbow of emotions,
Of naivety of thoughts,
Of beauty of simplicity,
Of laughing by heart,
Of aim of happiness,
Of living for true self,
Of originality of existence,

The bird who could have,
Explored the unfathomable,
Now runs aound the cage,
On four feets Like a rat,
Not realising,
That two of them are wings.
